Monks of New Skete

The Monks of New Skete have achieved international renown as breeders of German shepherds and as out-standing trainers of dogs of all breeds. Their approach to training dogs has been developed and refined over three decades. Their philosophy is "understanding is the key to communication, compassion, and communion" with your dog.
They have their official website which talks about their Monastery and a little about the dogs. The Dogs Best Friend website sells the Monks of New Skete DVD but is nolonger owned by the Monks. It looks like the rights to the DVD was sold and this is the official site. I was relieved to learn that as I couldn't see monks approving a very annoying pop up window displaying every time you go to the home page.
